Excellent Weekend for the Lifeboats at Caravan and Holiday Home Expo

The Caravan and Holiday Home Expo 2019 public show held last weekend at the Lawns Centre Cottingham proved a tremendous success for the Lifeboats with £1230 raised over the weekend for the work of the maritme search and rescue charity.

A spokesman said “ the RNLI stand, which was manned by volunteers from the organisation’s Hessle Branch, was kept busy throughout the two days. Since 2005 the event has raised nearly £17,500 for the Lifeboat Service. We are delighted with the backing of The Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire Caravan Manufacturers Association (HERMCA) which has allowed us to attend the show over the last 15 years and the excellent support from Michael and David Ritchie from Teamwork Professionals, the show’s organisers . We thoroughly enjoy meeting the public who come from all over the country to attend and who yet again very generously supported the RNLI. We look forward to hearing about the plans for next year when The Caravan, Motorhome and Holiday Home Expo 2020 takes place at the Yorkshire Event Centre (home of the Great Yorkshire Show) in Harrogate.
